JOIN THE CREW

A radio play takes a lot of people who never go near a microphone.

• House Management (ticket desk, etc.) looks after the audience on show nights.

• Tech runs sound and lighting for the whole run of a show: every performance, plus two tech rehearsals before opening, usually the Wednesday and Thursday. Checking Tech is an offer: we put each crew together by hand.

• And if you'd rather get on the stage yourself, there are Play Readings, informal evenings where you read a part with us. We run these instead of auditions. Four readers per date, scripts in hand, nothing to memorize, no moves to learn. Nobody's expecting an actor.

Kryptonite Radio Theater (contact: Mat Braun, info@kryptoniteradio.com) uses the information you enter here only to organize volunteers: matching you to the jobs you tick, emailing you when a show needs help in your chosen area (at most one reminder per show), and giving you your own page to manage or cancel your sign-up. We use trusted service providers, including our website host, our spreadsheet storage, and internal scheduling tools, to do this. We do not use this for marketing or our newsletter.
